Mission Statement
The Church of the Ascension is an Anglican Church offering worship in English, and serving greater Munich and Bavaria. We welcome people of all nationalities to join our growing community and share in our journey towards a deeper knowledge of God as revealed in Jesus Christ.
We seek to:
- Proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ by word and deed
- Celebrate God through beautiful, meaningful worship
- Minister to one another through worship, fellowship, Christian education
and pastoral care, and
- Care for people in the wider community through outreach projects, both
alone and together with others.

- English-speaking in a German environment
- Welcoming to newcomers - whether in Munich for a few days or a few years
- Strongly committed to lay leadership
Our main parish is in Munich, but we also offer services in Augsburg and Nuremberg
