Choir
The Choir is one of the largest organizations at the Church of the Ascension. The purpose of the Choir is to provide music for the services at the Church. Musical offerings come in a variety of forms, including the seasonal Messiah sing-alongs and Lessons and Carols Service. Membership is open to anyone who enjoys singing the music of the Episcopal Church services. Rehearsals are Sunday mornings from 10:15 ā€“ 11:30.

Youth Orchestra
The Youth Orchestra was formed in 2004 to give the younger members in our church the opportunity to take a more active role in the worship in family services. Children and young players must be able to read music and then they can enjoy the experience of playing with some of our more experienced members of the group. Family services are scheduled by the clergy and Worship Committee. Once the music has been chosen, the music is arranged and rehearsals take place for each service at least three weeks before the actual scheduled service. This involves coming to church a little earlier to learn how to perform in a group. Volunteers welcome!
Gospel Kidsā€¯ Youth Choir
Our Youth Choir is on hold and we hope to be able to find enough youth to start it again to be able to fill our youth and family services with the sound of our Gospel Kids.
