Welcome to the CHURCH of the ASCENSION!
As a member of the Convocation of Episcopal Churches in Europe,
we are an Anglican Church offering worship in English, and serving greater Munich and Bavaria.
We welcome everyone, wherever they are on their spiritual journey, to join our community and
together try to move towards a deeper knowledge of God as revealed in Jesus Christ.
Our main worship service is on Sundays at 12 o'clock
at the Emmauskirche, Seybothstr. 4, Munich-Harlaching.
! No ASCENSION SERVICE Sunday, May 1st !
May Day, a public holiday in Munich, is Sunday, May 1st.
The Harlaching Maibaum will be raised at 12:00 in the Emmauskirche park.
The festivities will include food and drink tents and Blasmusik.
Due to the noise and large crowd that will attend, Ascension will not hold a 12 o'clock service.
Everyone is instead invited to attend the Emmauskirche service at 10:00, and then stay for the May Day festival.
